Town & Country Bank participates in Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka’s Affordable Housing Program (AHP) to assist low and moderate-income first-time homebuyers with down payment assistance grants of up to $15,000 to help them purchase a home. Starting March 4, a new pool of funds is made available for these down payment assistance grants which are disbursed first come first served until the funding is exhausted for the year.

The Homeownership Set-aside Program (HSP) provides down payment, closing cost and repair assistance to first-time homebuyers earning at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). This grant is forgivable with a five-year retention period.
